We build on compacted stone, put drainage gravel and pipe behind the wall, and backfill in lifts, so pressure never gets a chance to push it out. Block walls, natural stone, boulder walls, and timber. Terraced beds, raised patios, grade changes, and slopes that wash out every spring. We also look at walls someone else built, tell you honestly whether it needs a repair or a rebuild, and price both.
